Bengaluru (March 4): Kannada actress Ranya Rao, who once shined on the big screen, is now in serious trouble. She was caught smuggling gold while returning from Dubai to Bengaluru. At Kempegowda International Airport, customs officials checked her belongings and found 15 kg of gold hidden inside. This is a huge crime, and that’s why they immediately arrested her.
How Did She Get Caught?
Ranya Rao landed in Bengaluru on March 3rd night. As she was walking out of the airport, officials stopped her for checking. When they searched her luggage, they were shocked to find illegal gold worth crores! She was then taken for questioning at the DRI (Directorate of Revenue Intelligence) office in Nagawara.
