New Delhi (May 8)- India has come down heavily on Pakistan for giving state honors like State Funerals to Terrorists and military-style funerals to the terrorists who were killed in recent Indian airstrikes on terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
India’s foreign Secretary Vikram Misri didn’t hold back in his criticism he said
“It seems like giving State Funerals to Terrorists is a normal practice in Pakistan but this is deeply disturbing for the rest of the world.”
During a press briefing Misri showed photos of Pakistani army and police officers in full uniform offering prayers in front of the coffins of the terrorists which were wrapped in the Pakistan national flag he asked
“If they claim only civilians died in the airstrike then why were the coffins covered with national flags and given military honors this raises serious questions”
He strongly rejected Pakistan’s claims that civilians were killed in the strikes
“The people who were killed were terrorists hiding in those facilities Pakistan may treat them as heroes but we don’t and the world shouldn’t either”

In a United nations security council meeting Pakistan tried to defend the group TRF( The Resistance front) even though TRF had openly taken responsibility for the attack not once but twice India called this out as a clear attempt to shield terrorists

Misri also mentioned that Pakistan attacked a Sikh gurdwara in Poonch where three members of the Sikh community were killed he said this was part of a pattern where Pakistan was targeting religious minorities in total 16 civilians have died in that region recently with several others injured
India also revealed that Pakistan tried to launch drone and missile attacks on several military bases across northern and western India including Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar Pathankot Chandigarh and more thankfully India’s advanced air defense and anti-drone systems blocked these attempts
