What started as a peaceful day for tourists in the stunning Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, turned into an absolute nightmare. In a cruel and calculated terrorist attack, 26 innocent lives were lost, and among them were two people from Karnataka.
It was just another calm afternoon. Families, couples, and friends were soaking in the natural beauty, clicking photos, and enjoying the fresh mountain air—until everything changed in a flash. Out of nowhere, the sound of gunfire echoed through the valley. Panic broke out. Terrorists began shooting at random, without any warning. People were terrified. Following the attack, Jammu & Kashmir Police released sketches of four suspects, believed to be involved in the deadly assault. They’ve also announced a cash reward for anyone who can help identify or locate them. While one suspect’s photo has now surfaced, their names and exact roles in the attack are still unknown.
Security forces have since tightened their grip on the region, and a massive search operation is underway. Intelligence teams are looking into every angle, trying to figure out who was behind this and what their actual motive was.
