The Karnataka Government is offering financial help to Scheduled Caste (SC) farmers to dig borewells on their land. This comes under the Ganga Kalyana Scheme for 2024-25. If you are eligible, you can apply and get ₹4 lakh subsidy to set up a borewell for irrigation.

Funding Details
- ₹153.53 lakh has been set aside for Ballari district under the PMKSY – Drip Irrigation Program.
- Farmers can get a 90% subsidy for irrigation on up to 2 hectares of land.
- If you qualify, apply and make use of this benefit.

Who Can Apply?
Farmers must meet these conditions:
- Must be a small or marginal farmer.
- Land should be in active farming.
- Should not have other irrigation sources.
- Must be a resident of Karnataka.
- Age should be between 18 and 60 years.
- Annual family income should be:
- ₹98,000 (for rural areas)
- ₹1.2 lakh (for urban areas)
- Must own at least 2 acres of land in one place..
