Jiostar is to broadcast till 2027 including the IND vs ENG test series

JioHotstar is set to continue its almighty broadcasting rights by acquiring them for another two years until 2027 while Sony defends it’s TV rights as a part of two-year partnership supported by England and Wales Cricket Board including the upcoming India versus England test match series .

Jiostar in it’s streaming platform’s name popularly called as JioHotstar will continue to broadcast the India’s tour of England- including Tests, one-day internationals (ODIs) and T20 internationals whereas Sony Pictures Network India (SNPI) has defended television rights for the Upcoming events through Sony Entertainment Television , both companies have confirmed in joint statement

This partnership between both SNPI and JioStar will cover India’s Tour of England in 2025 and 2026 respectively, in which upcoming test between India and England is set to begin on 20 June 2025.

This event has come into life when JioHotstar – the combined platform of Disney+Hotstar and JioCinema has Broadcasting rights of broad range of cricket in India including International Cricket Council (ICC ) , Indian Premier League (IPL), Women’s Premier League (WPL) been watched majority in it
